Dr Arif, your posts are so brilliant - really informative, I trust all the information and research you do and they are also really funny. The focus on the gut is just ace for me and it is the centre of everything along with the brain. Your posts brighten up my day. Just like a good cup of coffee. Thank you.
Can you be more specific about filtered coffee? Do you mean pour over coffee? Drip coffee through a filter? What about an individual drip with reusable drip filter? I can finally enjoy one cup of coffee a day but I was using a small espresso pot. Thanks!
I was just starting a coffee as I read this. .... very happy now.
Brilliant! Hope you’re keeping well!

Thank you Ms Berger! Will keep them coming
Drinking mine while I read!
Fantastic
This is really interesting, thank you! I really enjoy your Substack. Just wondering if instant coffee is the same benefit? 🤞🤞
Also curious about impact of fibre on liver health so shall keep my eyes peeled for anything along those lines. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I would avoid instant coffee (appreciate this comes from a point of privilege)

I think focus on the quality of the coffee bean! The most important factor. How you brew it doesn’t move the needle much
I do not understand why you said filtered coffee is better than a pressed coffee. Did I miss something?
Pressed coffee is great
Excellent
Thank you!
I still drink caffeine, but I've noticed it works way better when the basics are in place - sleep, food, and movement first.
As with anything! I agree
You say “bought/sourced correctly.” What does that mean?
Filtered coffee essentially. Or a high quality coffee bean
Happy brewing! ☕️
Always!
