Nicely done. Very comprehensive. I've done my share of Barrett's surveillance over the years, and the yield for significant findings are quite well. I think the net we are using is too wide, as is often the case in our profession.

So I was diagnosed with silent reflux some years ago and told to take omeprazole. There’s times I seem fine without it for months and months and then times where I feel like I need it. Currently taking it every day for the past three weeks. Is it not as scary as it used to be reported to take long term? If supplementing with magnesium glycinate and calcium and vitamin d etc?

100% - I think cytosponge is an interesting and far less invasive approach to surveillance.
